The Sunni radical group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is said to be recruiting and operating in some provinces of Afghanistan.
A man identified as Mullah Abdul Rauf – a former Taliban commander, has been claiming to represent ISIS in the southern Helmand province.
He is said to be setting up a network of followers who are inviting people to join them.
However, the militant group has been fighting with the local Taliban. Taliban leaders in this region have warned people to have nothing to do with Rauf.
