Environmental Democracy Index 2015 released; India at 24th position
Washington-based World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Access Initiative on 20 May 2025 released the first Environmental Democracy Index (EDI) for the year 2015. The index evaluates the environmental democracy in 70 countries based on recognised international standards.
