Saina Nehwal made history, entered into World Championship’s final

India’s badminton star Saina Nehwal made history by becoming the first Indian to enter the final of the badminton World Championships after defeating a stubborn Lindaweni Fanetri 21-17, 21-17 in a women’s singles semi-final in Jakarta on 15 August.

Olympic bronze medallist Saina, currently the World No.2, defeated the world No.29 Fanetri in a 55-minute encounter.
