The government of India has refused to declassify at least 87 top secret files containing information about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

This has been done on the grounds that the files are of sensitive nature and revealing them could cause a problem for India’s relation with other countries.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose

  1. Subhas Chandra Bose : 23 January 1897 – 18 August 1945
  2. An Indian nationalist
  3. Tried to free India of British rule with the help of Nazi Germany and Japan during World War II
  4. Popularly called as Netaji (Respected Leader)
