Aditi Chauhan became India’s first woman to play in English league football

Aditi Chauhan, India’s international football goalkeeper, became the country’s first woman to play English league football.

She made her debut for the women’s team of the West Ham United in the opening game of the season against Coventry City.

West Ham United Ladies Football Club

West Ham United Ladies Football Club is an English women’s football club (FC) affiliated with West Ham United FC.

They were formed in 1991 and play at Hornchurch Stadium, Upminster the home of Hornchurch FC. They are currently in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division.
