A survey finds that 44% people were advised unnecessary surgeries by doctors

A survey has revealed that 44% of the surgeries advised by the doctors to their patients were unnecessary.

Health Care

The survey also claims that 55% of heart patients had been misled. MediAngels, a second opinion centre in Mumbai recently studied its first 20,000 cases over the past two years.

In this study it found that many patients had been advised unnecessary surgeries by their primary doctors. This has thrown light upon the malpractice of the doctors.
