How to Create an AVD in Eclipe ?

You will run your application in the Android Emulator. Before you can launch the emulator, you must create an Android Virtual Device (AVD). An AVD defines the system image and device settings used by the emulator.


Steps to be performed to Create an AVD in Eclipse IDE :

Step 1 : Click on Window -> AVD Manager
Step 2 : Click on the New Tab inside Eclipse.

Step 3 : Then new Pop-Up window will be opened, [Create New Android Virtual Device]
Step 4 : Give Appropriate name for your AVD.

Step 5 : Choose Target. [Here we have chosen Android 4.0]
Step 6 : Click on Create Button.

Step 7 : Check following Icon on the toolbar.
