Hindi Divas (Hindi Day) was observed across India on 14 September 2015. The day is celebrated every year to propagate the Hindi language and its cultural heritage and values.
‘To the Brink and Back: India’s 1991 Story’ – a book written by India’s former minister Jairam Ramesh, was published. The book gives the first hand account as it narrates the author’s observations when he was part of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) during first 90 days of the Narasimha Rao’s government.
Google-run video sharing portal YouTube and Whistling Woods International (WWI) (a film, communication and media arts institute owned by Subhash Ghai) have tied-up together to set up ‘YouTube Space’ in Mumbai. YouTube Space will be a collaboration and production facility for YouTube video creators.
Maharashtra’s famous festival Dahi Handi (Govinda) was accorded with the status of Adventure Sport through a Government Resolution (GR). From now on, Dahihandi will be played as per the rules and regulations which will be framed by a State-level association. It will not be limited to Janmashtami only.
