Saina becomes 1st Indian woman to reach All England final

Saina Nehwal with her rocking performance in Birmingham became the first Indian woman to reach the All England final. However, she could not win the final.

The 24 -year-old Saina demolished two Chinese stars to enter into her maiden final. However she could not continue her feat in the final.

Among men, Prakash Padukone and P Gopichand – her former coach, are the only players from India to have achieved the feat.
